Joining the Greenbriar school community is an exciting journey that begins with connecting with us.
- Inquire to Schedule a Tour. Tours give families an opportunity to meet staff, ask questions, and learn more about our culture and programs. Tours are approximately one hour long, and we welcome all students and family members to attend.
While not part of the enrollment process, we also warmly invite you to join one of our community potlucks or work parties. These informal gatherings are a wonderful way to meet the current families, students, and staff who make up the heart of our school community. Check our calendar for upcoming events.
Once you’ve toured our campus and decided you would like your child(ren) to learn with us, the next step is to submit an enrollment application. This application allows us to learn more about your child’s interests, learning style, and what you’re hoping to find in an educational environment. A non-refundable application fee of $25 is due at time of application.
Applications are carefully reviewed based on our current staffing capabilities and the programs we’re offering that year, ensuring that we can provide the best possible experience for every student who joins us. Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, we’ll guide you through the next steps and officially welcome your family to Greenbriar—a school community that supports student-led learning, encourages compassion and cooperation, and values a deep connection with the natural world.
Upon acceptance, the supply fee for each program enrolled is due before the first day of attendance each semester. For complete details on tuition, discounts, and payment options, see the Tuition section below.

Your final invoice, reflecting all family pricing, discounts, fees, programs specific pricing, and selected electives, will be emailed after tour, application, and mutual agreement.

Financial Aid
Our financial aid program is sustained entirely by the generosity of our community through donations and grants. We’re committed to allocating every dollar we receive to families who need support. Because our funds are limited, financial aid is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while available.
Please reach out to us at [email protected]. We’ll work with you based on what’s currently available.
Want to help grow our financial aid fund? Families can contribute monthly during enrollment, or anyone can donate at any time to help make our school accessible to more children.
