Joining the Greenbriar school community is an exciting journey that begins with connecting with us.
1) Inquire to Schedule a Tour. Tours give families an opportunity to meet staff, ask questions, and learn more about our culture and programs. We warmly invite you to attend one of our community potlucks, which offer a wonderful informal setting to meet current families, students, and staff members who make up the heart of our school community. To find out when the next potluck is scheduled, simply check our calendar for upcoming events and gatherings where you can experience the welcoming atmosphere that defines our school culture.
2) Once you’ve experienced our community spirit at a potluck, the next step is to create an account and submit an enrollment application. This application allows us to learn more about your child’s interests, learning style, and what you’re hoping to find in an educational environment. A non-refundable application fee of $25 is due at time of application.
3) Applications are carefully reviewed based on our current staffing capabilities and the programs we’re offering that year, ensuring that we can provide the best possible experience for every student who joins us. Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, we’ll guide you through the next steps and officially welcome your family to Greenbriar—a school community that supports student-led learning, encourages compassion and cooperation, and values a deep connection with the natural world.
4) Upon acceptance, the supply fee for each program enrolled is due before first day of attendance for each semester. Tuition is based on the number of days and programs your child attends per week. You may choose to pay monthly over 9 months (September–May) or receive a 10% discount by paying in full at the time of enrollment. The total shown during application is an estimate. Your final invoice, reflecting all family pricing, discounts, fees, programs, and selected electives, will be emailed separately following your tour and mutual interview.

Our financial aid program is sustained entirely by the generosity of our community through donations and grants. We’re committed to allocating every dollar we receive to families who need support. Because our funds are limited, financial aid is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while available.
