Nature of Work

Provide instruction to individual students and small groups ranging in grades from K-12 across a variety of academic subjects, including but not limited to Mathematics, English/Language Arts, Science, Geography, and Social Studies. Facilitate other learning activities by implementing personalized education plans and supporting behavior plans. Teachers and assistants will employ various behavioral strategies developed and discussed with the school body and school committee.

   Teachers at Greenbriar Community School are integral members of the community. Beyond providing instruction, they contribute in numerous ways, such as leading hikes, assisting with school-wide and community projects, participating in daily and event cleanup efforts, organizing, taking part in school work parties, hosting Open Houses and more.
