Game of Village is a mixed-age, project-based program at Greenbriar Community School that blends hands-on learning, collaboration, leadership, and imaginative play within a living village environment. Rooted in creativity, autonomy and community, the program supports children through meaningful work, shared responsibility, and real-world experiences.
Core academics are naturally woven into the day through project-based learning in literacy, math, communication, civics, entrepreneurship, engineering, and critical thinking through authentic participation and guided mentorship.
Game of Village also includes natural building, collaborative workshops, village meetings, storytelling, trade and economics, building projects, conflict resolution, and community gatherings that support creativity, confidence, and deep social connection.
